baptisms
Baptism is the first real event dedicated to the new family that was born together with the baby.
Through my experience as a mother and then as a professional, I have seen first-hand the burning desire of parents to give the baptism an unforgettable aura, dedicating it to their dearest affections and sharing the boundless joy.
However, as in every epic tale, not all that glitters is gold. Behind the baptism there is a vast world. The favors must be chosen with care, which must be the perfect ones because they represent that first memory of the baby. The location must be selected with care. The guests require attention. And then come the decorations and ornaments, carefully woven to create the event dreamed of by the parents.
For those who, day after day (and night after night), take care of a newborn, these thoughts can become a source of stress and even fear. Too often I have seen mothers and fathers settle for celebrations other than those dreamed of for the baptism, because for them organizing every detail was a labyrinth. They lacked time. They lacked energy.
